Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain
On 6th July 2004, Our company had the privilege of watching HM Queen Elizabeth II open the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain.
The design of the memorial aims to reflect Diana’s life, water flows from the highest point in two directions as it cascades, swirls and bubbles before meeting in a calm pool at the bottom of the oval shape. It includes 545 pieces of Cornish Granite each of which were carefully manufactured in our factory in Northern Ireland, then transported to Hyde Park, London where one of our teams then fitted the large memorial.
As this was one of the companies first major projects we will always be thankful for the opportunity and honoured to be involved in the manufacturing of this memorial.
